Carloto isn't a restaurant with a bar upstairs. It's a four-storey house where every level has its own character, its own light and its own cocktail list. You come in through Terra, head up to the rooftop for an aperitivo and, as the night goes on, make your way down to Inferno.

The names come from Dante, but the route is set by the night: you start at the top, on the rooftop, and work your way down as things get more intense. Each floor has its own atmosphere, its own music and two signature cocktails that exist nowhere else.
Everything looks different from up here.
The rooftop: an onyx bar that glows from within, frescoes of sky and angels, olive trees and Santiago in the background. The best place to start the night, or to spend a whole Sunday afternoon.
Between conversation and celebration.
Terracotta, red marble, velvet and a grand piano under a damask ceiling. A floor for long after-dinner talks, wine by the glass and music that keeps rising.
The way into the house.
Street level: a green marble bar, exposed brick, plants and woven lamps hanging from a damask ceiling. It's where you come in, where you have lunch and coffee, and where you decide where to go next.
Where everything gets more intense.
The last floor down: red, velvet and dark marble, heavy curtains and a mirror ball waiting for the small hours. This is where the DJ sets and the late-night menu live.

Some say life should be taken in moderation, others push you to live it wildly… For my part, as your host, I'll say just one thing: no matter where you start, I promise you'll want for nothing here.
On my travels I learned that wine is found in a good conversation, at an unexpected table or in that moment you don't want to end. So I kept every one of those encounters: bottles with history, origin and character.
We chose each of these beans because we believe a good cup can change the moment… and if it comes with something freshly baked, even better.
The house sounds different on every floor and at every hour. Piano in Purgatorio at aperitivo time, live sessions and shows as night falls, and DJ sets in Inferno until closing.

Company lunches, launches, birthdays and private dinners. Each floor can be booked on its own, or the whole house, with tailor-made menus and live mixology.
